HTCY exists to see 6th-12th grade students in the city of Chicago transformed by the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
HTCY is a community of 6th-12th grade students (and a few leaders) that get together on a regular basis for fun activities, Bible studies, and retreats. As a group, we seek to keep Jesus Christ at the center of all we do. The three values that we hope are encompassed through our meetings and activities are: (1) Making Jesus Known - making the gospel of Jesus Christ known and seeking to grow in it, (2) Service - to our communities, city, and the world and (3) Community - creating a fun, welcoming, and friendly environment for all who join us.
HTCY currently has youth group gatherings and Bible studies at our South Side and Downtown congregations. You can click on the "When We Meet" link below for details. All of the youth get together for weekly gatherings and monthly events ("Upcoming Events" link below).
