Kevin Schwartz has been the Youth Director at Holy Trinity Church since June 2007. He received his B.A. in Bible/Theology from Moody Bible Institute and his M.A. in Biblical Exegesis from Wheaton College. In August 2009 he completed HTC's ministry training program, Chicago Plan. He hopes that students in HTCY will develop a strong interest in studying the Bible for themselves and finding Jesus Christ at the center of it. When not working he enjoys reading, hiking, biking around the city, being a Detroit Tigers fan in Chicago, playing almost any sport, and traveling anywhere new and fun with his wife, Erin.
Matt Weir was born in Haiti, where his parents were serving as missionaries. In 1995 his family moved back to the States to Hanover, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Moody Bible Institute in the fall of 2006 with a double major in Pastoral Studies and Youth Ministry. During his last semester he started dating Laura (see below) and they were married in April 2008. Matt is currently an intern in HTC's Chicago Plan, helping out with youth group and leading HTCY's downtown Bible studies. Other than working with youth Matt enjoys biking, reading, writing, cooking, soccer, guitar, good conversations, and hanging out with his wife. The main goal and privilege of his life is to puruse a more intimate relationship with the triune God and helping others to do the same.
Laura spent the first 20 years of her life in northwest Indiana. While growing up, God cultivated a desire in her heart to enter full-time ministry. That desire brought her to Moody Bible Institute where she studied Youth Ministry and graduated in the spring of 2009. She is now an intern with HTC's Chicago Plan, managing at Jimmy John's, and working with HTCY. When not doing all of that she enjoys playing the piano, guitar, and bass guitar, reading, biking around the city, playing board games, finding great bargains, and spending time with her husband.

Erin Schwartz moved to Chicago in 2004 and quickly became involved in urban ministry. She currently works full-time for a non-profit after-school program called By The Hand Club For Kids as the Volunteer Coordinator and is passionate about getting believers involved in areas of the city that are under-resourced, avoided and forgotten. Along with working with HTCY, Erin is involved at HTC as an intern in the Chicago Plan and a core member of the congregation-plant on the westside. In her "spare time" Erin enjoys her friends, eating at fabulous Chicago restaurants and traveling anywhere and everywhere.
A native of Southern California suburbs, David Ulrich spent his youth being picked last in neighborhood sports then staying up late to do hundreds of sit-ups. Upon accepting his miserable physique, he devoted more time to learn music, first studying the piano, then percussion, guitars and songwriting, which led to plain writing, which let him to Moody Bible Institute in 2008 to study Print Communications and Biblical Languages. He works as a newspaper editor, though most of his waking hours are spent running (he's good at this), cooking ethnic foods, reading the classics and studying the languages of the Bible. He is pursuing a missionary life, eager to plant churches in a place that "Gospel" is not yet a word in the language.
