Erin Schwartz moved to Chicago in 2004 and quickly became involved in urban ministry. She currently works full-time for a non-profit after-school program called By The Hand Club For Kids as the Volunteer Coordinator and is passionate about getting believers involved in areas of the city that are under-resourced, avoided and forgotten. Along with working with HTCY, Erin is involved at HTC as an intern in the Chicago Plan and a core member of the congregation-plant on the westside. In her "spare time" Erin enjoys her friends, eating at fabulous Chicago restaurants and traveling anywhere and everywhere.
A native of Southern California suburbs, David Ulrich spent his youth being picked last in neighborhood sports then staying up late to do hundreds of sit-ups. Upon accepting his miserable physique, he devoted more time to learn music, first studying the piano, then percussion, guitars and songwriting, which led to plain writing, which let him to Moody Bible Institute in 2008 to study Print Communications and Biblical Languages. He works as a newspaper editor, though most of his waking hours are spent running (he's good at this), cooking ethnic foods, reading the classics and studying the languages of the Bible. He is pursuing a missionary life, eager to plant churches in a place that "Gospel" is not yet a word in the language.

Brock and Kristi Brockway were born in Kalamazoo and Saginaw, Michigan respectively. They met in a college ministry at Western Michigan University while pursuing their bachelor degrees. Kristi studied Human Resource Management, while Brock studied Chemical Engineering and Spanish. Brock then went into exile in Chicago and was followed by Kristi about a year later when they were married in May 2009. They currently reside in Hyde Park where they serve in Holy Trinity Church's South Side Congregation. Brock is an intern with the Chicago Plan, but they both serve the community group, youth, music, and university ministries together. Vocationally, Kristi is the manager of Encore, which is a second hand store started by Hope For Chicago, and Brock works as a chemical engineer for Cargill Incorporated. In her free time, Kristi enjoys cooking, shopping, and singing. Brock pursues various hobbies including playing and listening to music, reading the Bible and books on theology, and listen to lectures/sermons during his commute. They mutually enjoy traveling, playing music, spending time together, and figuring out what to do with their lives.
