Serving Those Who Serve the City

Few people mark our lives as much as our teachers, and yet we often forget to thank them.

If you are one of the Teachers in Chicago who educate nearly half a million students (K-12) or if you know a teacher in your life you’d like to invite, we encourage you to join us as we serve them during our Sunday Service at the downtown congregation on Feb. 19, 2012.  We as a church want to pray for Teachers, present a simple gift, and share in a complimentary meal together.  We look forward to celebrating God’s common grace and your work in Chicago.

We at Holy Trinity Church believe that all Chicagoans are recipients of God’s common grace in the city through the provision of public services that makes urban living possible.  Such expressions of God’s common grace in the city might include services as health, law enforcement, social work, education, and commerce.  At the Holy Trinity Church Downtown congregation, we want to thank those people who serve the city, thereby participating in God’s love for Chicago.  Please join us for our Serving Those who Serve the City Sunday as we thank those in the EDUCATION field.

If you're in the educational field, join us on February 19 at Murphy Auditorium (50 E. Erie) for:

10:00am - Sunday Worship service

11:30am - a shared, complimentary meal
