South Side

Welcome to Holy Trinity Church's South Side congregation! Our Sunday services are located in Hyde Park - one of Chicago's truly diverse neighborhoods. We are committed to the gospel and are passionate about training families, individuals and University students to know and follow Jesus Christ. Weekly community groups meet in homes for further encouragement, prayer and Bible Study.

Location for Sunday Services

The South Side congregation meets every Sunday afternoon on the corner of 53rd and Blackstone (1448 E. 53rd St - United Church of Hyde Park). There is street parking available as well as a public pay lot on the corner of 53rd and Lake Park.

University Ministry

Holy Trinity Church's roots were first laid in Hyde Park, and for that reason much of our university ministry happens at the University of Chicago.  HTC's South Side university ministry consists of three primary components: Sunday evening meals, campus lectures, and the Redemption of Reason Conference.

Adult Education Hour

The Bible: It's not Just a Bunch of Stories.  Join us in an 11-week seminar as we explore the contours of the Christian Bible, from the table of contents to the very last words, discovering the central theme that holds the whole book together. This course will run from January 10 - March 21.

Children's Ministry

Kid City, the name of our Sunday School ministry to children, is offered at 3:00pm  for infants through 5^th grade.  Click here for more info...

Kid Celebration is music and worship activities offered for children during the 4:00pm service for all children ages 3 thru 5^th grade.  Children will be dismissed just prior to the sermon for Kid Celebration.  Click here for info...
