Proverbs 7: The Seduction of a Sex Addict

Proverbs 7 gives us a drama of a young man being entrapped by the adulterous women. This passage teaches us that the continual enslavement to sexual sin will ultimately cost us our life. We are exhorted by way of warning not to let our hearts turn aside to the seduction of the pleasures of this world.

Proverbs 6.1-19

Proverbs 6.1-19 gives us practical warnings in the area of finances, slothfulness, and sowing discord. The father warns the son against putting up security because it can lead to ruin (6.1-5) he continues with an exhortation of the sluggard to follow the example of the ant lest he come to devastation (vv.6-11) and he give his son a description of the sort of characteristics that the Lord hates (vv.12-19).
