Whether you're new to HTC West Side, or you have been attending for a while, you're invited to Meet HTC, a three-week class exploring the vision, values, and mission of our church. You can also find out how to become a member and get involved on HTC's mission to Chicago.
What HTC believes about membership:
Because we are a “gospel community,” we at HTC believe in church membership. Membership is about joining a family that is united in belief and purpose in order to experience Christ and share Him with the world – it is a visible representation of a spiritual reality: that Christians actually are the “body” of Jesus Christ. Members at HTC are united theologically. We share common views about God and his Word. We are also united in our mission and philosophy, which flow out of our theology; our values lead us to be united in our mission to Chicago and to the world. In short, we fight for unity so that we can faithfully live out the gospel together for the sake of the world and we believe that membership is part of our pathway to theological, missional, and philosophical unity.

Join A Community Group
A natural bi-product of the Gospel is that we engage in each other's lives on a regular basis. Community is the result of the gospel embedding in our lives. The DNA of Community Group is to know God from studying the Word and engage the community through missional living. We affirm that being on mission together creates the kind of community worth having. Join a group, participate and anticipate change. For more information contact Mike Rose at
Intersection Cafe
Intersection Café is a place where the Church and local community gather to form relationships that lead toward discipleship, to meet the holistic needs of the community, and to spur our hearts to action in the areas of mercy, justice, and compassion. All of these are accomplished through intentional interaction with community and guests. To get plugged in contact Jon Vales at
